FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral/prescription?

The state of Texas allows you to be evaluated but not treated for an injury without a referral. The easiest route, however, is to get a referral from a primary care, internal medicine, orthopedic or chiropractic doctor.

How long is a typical treatment session?

It depends on the severity of your injury and the nature of your condition, but treatment times vary from just under one hour to one hour and 30 minutes.

How do I know if I am appropriate for physical therapy?

We believe that every individual, injured or not, can benefit from the knowledge and skill that our physical therapists possess. Try one visit and you will be given a good understanding of whether physical therapy is appropriate for you or not.

Can I choose my own physical therapist/facility?

Absolutely. We hope that you choose a facility that has no financial ties to any physician.
